Founded in 1945, the International Society of Automation (www.isa.org) is a leading, global, nonprofit organization that is setting the standard for automation by helping over 30,000 worldwide members and other professionals solve difficult technical problems, while enhancing their leadership and personal career capabilities. Based in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, ISA develops standards, certifies industry professionals, provides education and training, publishes books and technical articles, and hosts conferences and exhibitions for automation professionals.

The Savannah River Section is a local branch of ISA. The Savannah River Section encompasses a wide geographic region across Georgia and South Carolina, and is centrally located in Augusta, GA.

ISA is a group of people who like to get together and talk about industry and the part we play in it. We always encourage new people who are interested in our line of technology to attend our meetings to socialize and play a part in our mission. Our monthly member meetings typically feature a guest speaker or a tour of a local plant or point of interest. To find out more about us, come to our next meeting or send us an e-mail message. You can also find us on Facebook and LinkedIn.
